new location is double the size of the first. It features a range of studio sizes, each thoughtfully designed to create an inspiring and productive workspace. With premium amenities and a prestigious address, Ascend Studio is set to become the go-to destination for industry professionals looking to grow their practices in an upscale setting.

“We wanted clients to feel like they were actually in a high-end Art Museum,” Bowen said. “I love art and have a fond appreciation for it, and so that’s the feel we gave. I hear great feedback from all of our tenants and their clients about how good they feel when they come in.”

Bowen says that she is very thoughtful when it comes to choosing tenants for Ascend Studio.

“This location is attracting clients like nurse practitioners, master cosmetologists, makeup artists — those kinds of folk. We’re also attracting nurse practitioners who do esthetic kind of work such as Botox, dental hygienists, massage therapists, wellness experts, hair stylists. So it’s not just a salon or a barber shop or something like that,” Bowen said.

Ascend Studio has space available at both locations. The units range from 105 square feet to over 300.

“We’d love to have more nurse practitioners who are specializing in wellness,”

Bowen said. “We’d love more dental hygienists here. We’d love master stylists and makeup artists. We’re building an ecosystem around beauty, image and wellness, all in one location.”

“Imagine if you could just go from studio to studio, from office to office, and have everything done in one place,” added.

Why should clients lease at Ascend Studio?

  • Luxurious Environment: Bowen designed the studios with elegance and functionality in mind, offering a professional atmosphere that reflects the exacting standards of her targeted client’s business.

  • Flexible Leasing Options: Bowen offer a variety of studio sizes to accommodate diverse needs, from solo practitioners to larger teams, and she has flexible leasing options.

  • Prime Location: Situated on Forest Drive, one of Columbia’s most desirable areas, Cardinal Crossing shopping plaza, the new location provides easy access for Lessees and a prestigious address for their business.

  • Exclusive Amenities: Ascend Studio Lessees enjoy access to top-tier amenities, including a welcoming reception area, high speed Wi-Fi, modern furnishings, and ample parking.

  • Community and Networking: Lessees are immediately welcomed into a community of like-minded

professionals, benefitting from networking opportunities, collaborative events, and crosspromotional activities.

Bowen says that clients who based their businesses at Ascend Studio will enjoy a unique experience.

“It’s not the traditional studio,” she said. “All of our service providers work by appointment only. There aren’t a bunch of people sitting around a lobby. We do that out of respect for our business owners. Our doors are locked 24-7 for the safety and well-being of our business owners, and for the safety and well-being of their clients. All of our business owners enter our doors with a fob. They have keys to their offices, and we have covered parking.”

Bowen says that her longterm plan is to expand the business, especially after her son completes his business degree at Emory University. But for now, she is just counting her blessings.

“This is an amazing location,” she said. “I graduated from AC Flora High School right up the street from here, and it gives me chills when I think about it.”
