A powerful evening of literature, history, and economic vision: “Empowering Black Entrepreneurship: A South Carolina Book Tour” will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 6:00 PM, located at 1013 Duke Avenue. Designed to foster a deeper connection between the Palmetto State’s rich heritage and its economic future, the tour brings together three distinguished voices in the Black literary and business community.
Attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage with authors who are documenting the past and architecting the future of BIPOC success.
Featured Authors and Visionaries
The evening will feature a curated panel of experts:

within the Black community. A Night of Knowledge and Community
The event’s theme—Connect, Learn, Inspire—reflects a commitment to more than just a standard book signing. It serves as a call to action for local entrepreneurs, historians, and community members to join a collective dialogue about the importance of legacy and self-reliance.
“This tour is more than books; it’s about the stories that build empires and the history that sustains our community,” say the event organizers. Sponsorship and Partnership
