Emmanuel AME Church celebrated its Annual Women’s Day Program on Sunday, July 13. The guest speaker was the Rev. Tina Gogo, Associate Minister at the High Hill AME Church in Dazell, SC. Rev. Gogo brought an encouraging message entitled
“Knocked down but not Out”; in reference to the theme of “The Strength of a Christian Woman” Isaiah 41:10.
The Woman of the Year plaque was presented to Sis. Viola T. McCants for her involvement in the church and community. The Titus Woman
Award was presented to Sis. Bertha L. Brown for demonstrating Godly wisdom by being an example of the Titus 2:3-5 women.
Rev. Ertha Bowman is the pastor. All are welcome to worship at 2130 Barhamville Road.
