South Carolina State University recently inducted 125 outstanding student scholars into the Dr. Emily England Clyburn Honors College.
This new cohort, which includes both incoming freshmen and continuing students accepted for the 2024-2025 academic year, marks a significant milestone in the Honors College’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and leadership development.
“The induction ceremony marks the beginning of an exciting academic journey for these exceptional students,” Dr. William Whitaker, the Honors College’s dean, said of the event held Thursday, Feb. 27, in the SC State Fine Arts Auditorium. “Our Honors College offers a rigorous and enriching experience that challenges students
to think critically, lead boldly, and reach their highest potential.”
