Crepes Palace

Crepes Palace apart, offering a diverse culinary experience in every crepe.

Paula says that Crepes Palace has menu items to delight every palate and meet everyone’s dietary needs. For Pescatarians (people who do not eat meat but will eat fish and seafood) the top-selling dishes include the curry lobster and snapper with veggies, both premium choices that have garnered rave reviews. Meat Lovers enjoy the oxtails and lamb chops dishes. They are prepared with a blend of natural, organic seasonings like thyme and green onions. Vegans and Vegetarians typically order the Silver Dollar, a dish featuring mushroom caps served on a bed of lettuce. It provides a balanced meal with protein and carbs. For diners who prefer Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free meals, Crepes Palace offers gluten-free and dairy-free crepes, made with gluten-free flour and dairy alternatives like oat milk or almond milk.

One of the standout items is the curry lobster, a top seller that has delighted customers with its unique flavor. Paula’s dedication to quality and customer satisfaction ensures that all menu items are available throughout the day, catering to diverse tastes and preferences.

Crepes Palace also boasts a variety of desserts, with offerings that change based on seasonal availability. The current top sellers for the summer include:

  • Berry Princess (which I highly recommend): A delightful combination of various berries wrapped in a kiwi crepe, served with ice cream and garnished with mint.

  • Crepe the Island: Sweetened rice cooked with coconut milk, wrapped in a mango crepe, and topped with fresh mango slices and condensed milk.

  • Nutella Banana Strawberry Crepe: A year-round

favorite, this crepe is filled with Nutella, banana, and strawberries, and topped with whipped cream.

  • Sex in a Pan: A decadent dessert with layers of chocolate, ladyfingers, pecans, vanilla cream, and chocolate cream.

Crepes Palace offers daily specials, including $10 Tuesdays with options like barbecue ribs and curry chicken, Wings Wednesdays, and Thirsty Thursdays with complimentary sweet tea. Fun & Family Fridays feature a kids’ menu and a buffet, while the weekend buffet includes a variety of dishes and mimosas.

Paula says that in order to ensure that every item has a fresh taste, items on the menu are constantly updated based on their seasonal availability. Some menu items appear for special occasions.

For instance, Crepes Palace offers special holiday packages. For Thanksgiving, the restaurant has a turkey package that can feed families of various sizes. Last year, jerk turkey was a hit, providing a unique alternative to the traditional fried turkey.

“It is important to offer something different to the community, such as the jerk turkey, which is not commonly found in the Lowcountry,” Paula said.

Catering is also a substantial part of the business. Crepes Palace can provide catering services for just about any type of event, everything from weddings and banquets to take out boxes. They can accommodate large groups of up to 2,000 people. While they prefer to stay within a 50-mile radius for deliveries to ensure food quality, Crepes Palace can accommodate events outside of the Lowcountry area.

If you need a place to host and cater your event, Crepes Palace has you covered. The restaurant can comfortably

accommodate 50 to 55 guests, with an additional 13 seats available in the Blue Room, a complimentary reservable space for special events. For larger gatherings, Crepes Palace can extend its seating to the covered patio area, accommodating up to 200 guests for events like family reunions and weddings.

“We recently had a wedding on our patio,” Paula said.

Hosting events like weddings is part of Paula’s strategy to make Crepes Palace a hub of the community. One of the popular events at Crepes Palace is the monthly “Sip and Chat,” held on the second Friday of every month. This event is designed for adults and features different themes each month, such as reggae, the 70s, and the 80s. Guests can enjoy music from a DJ, dance, and socialize in a lively atmosphere. The event has a cover charge of $10 per person and includes a cash bar with a bartender mixing cocktails.

Crepes Palace is located at 2409 Mall Drive D. in North Charleston, SC. It operates from Tuesday to Saturday, opening its doors at 8 AM for breakfast and closing at 3 PM. After a brief transition period, the restaurant reopens from 4 PM to 8 PM for dinner. On Sundays, Crepes Palace welcomes guests from 9 AM to 6 PM without any breaks, catering especially to churchgoers looking for a delightful brunch experience.
