After more than two decades of dedicated service to the James R. Clark Sickle Cell Foundation, Mrs. Yvonne Donald was honored on Friday, November 7, with a surprise retirement celebration organized by her family and attended by more than 150 colleagues, community members, friends, and loved ones.

During the celebration, numerous patients, family members, and community representatives shared heartfelt tributes recognizing Mrs. Donald’s unwavering commitment and remarkable contributions to the fight against Sickle Cell Disease. Though retiring from her full-time role, Mrs. Donald will continue to consult with the Foundation, furthering her lifelong mission of advocacy and service.
