Hundreds of people came out on Friday, November 22, to attend Claflin University’s 30th Anniversary Presidential Scholarship Gala. The event was held in Claflin’s brand new $40 million student center.
The Scholarship Gala is held every November to raise fund to support Presidential Scholars, high achieving and academically talented students who are also members of the Alice Carson Tisdale Honors College.
The headliner for the event was Grammy Award winning R&B singer Johnny Gill.
