Events held to support Claflin University student-athletes
For the fourth year in a row, the Claflin University Department of Athletics will hold its annual PAWS Up Golf Classic. On Thursday, July 18th, the Celebrity Soiree will be held, and it will be followed by the PAWSUp Golf Classic. The two-day event will offer an extravagant evening and a full day of fun while providing support for the studentathletes of Claflin University.
The Celebrity Soiree will be held at the New Student Center Ballroom A on the campus of Claflin University. The event will be a great opportunity to meet and mingle with several celebrities and members of the Claflin University family. A full list of celebrity guests will be announced. Tickets for the Celebrity Soiree are available now at $60 each. VIP tables at the Celebrity Soiree are also available for $500.
The Fourth Annual PAWSUp Golf Classic will be held on July 19th at the Lake Marion Golf Club in Santee, South Carolina. The tournament will feature two flights and awards will be given for both Champions and Runners-Up. Awards will also be given for the men’s longest drive,
the women’s longest drive, and the closest to the pin. Each four-person team registration will include breakfast, access to a practice facility, a loaded goodie bag, snacks, and beverages, and 18 holes of golf with a cart, and lunch. Team registration will also come with four tickets to the PAWSUp Celebrity Soiree. Mulligans will also be available (four for $20) with a limit of eight (8) per team. Individual golfers can also register to participate for $150.
