Delta Eta Chapter, Incorporated® Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated®, celebrated its charter day and honored its 2025 Member of the Year. The event took place on Saturday, June 21st, at the Federation House, Columbia, SC 29203. Dr. Jean Hopkins, a distinguished charter and life member, was present at the celebration.
Chartered on June 19, 1982, Delta Eta has dedicated the past 43 years to enhancing community health in the Midlands through strategic partnerships. The chapter has conducted thousands of blood pressure screenings, participated in blood drives, and organized informative educational symposiums, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to public wellbeing.
Dr. Sheila Belton-Gaymon was recognized as the 2025 Member of the Year. An eight-year member of Delta
Eta and a nurse/advanced practice registered nurse for 35 years and 30 years, respectively. Dr. Belton- Gaymon currently serves as Vice President, organizing key chapter initiatives with exceptional
