Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. provides financial support to deserving nursing students by awarding nursing scholarships at the national, regional, and local levels. In 1993, Delta Eta Chapter established, in honor of a fallen dedicated soror, the Brenda Brown (BB) Scholarship. Delta Eta initiated the annual Green & Yellow Gala as the primary source of raising funds for the scholarships and a platform to publicly present the scholarships to recipients and has done so through 2019.
During 2020-2022, Delta Eta provided scholarships, although the Gala was canceled related to the COVID pandemic. Delta Eta Chapter was elated to host the 38th Green & Yellow Gala on October 13, 2023, and awarded $6,500 in scholarships to nursing students and Allen University Jazz Band.
Since the inception of the Brenda Brown Scholarship, Delta Eta has been active in promoting one of our primary missions: to elevate the plane of nursing and develop nursparticipants to connect with peers, thought leaders, and industry influencers.
