Her passion for empowering young girls is deeply rooted in her own childhood experiences. As a young girl, she attempted to make her first film by reselling extra boxes of Girl Scout cookies to raise money for an 8mm camera. Reflecting on her journey, Christa often wonders how different her path might have been if a program like H.E.R. Production Academy had existed to help her realize her dreams and bring her vision to life.
