Central Baptist Church will host its Men’s Day Sing-Out on Sunday, September 29th, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Central Baptist Church Family Life Center. The public is cordially invited to attend.

Dr. Curry, originally from Orangeburg, South Carolina, established Renaissance Publications, LLC. In recognition of his contributions to genealogy, particularly regarding the Thompson family, he received the 2019 International Afro-American Historical and Genealogy Society Book Award in the Non-Fiction Category. Following this achievement, the South Carolina General Assembly recognized his impactful work in preserving African American history and heritage in the state.
