Businesswoman, motivational speaker, and visionary strategist, Rachelle Jamerson-Holmes has been named the 2023-24 National President of the American Business Women’s Association.

Rachelle founded the EmpowerHer ABWA Chapter in her hometown of Orangeburg, SC, which sponsored over 100 members. She says her 16-year vision to bring such an organization to the community was intentional, as she sought after a partnership that was fully diverse and inclusive.

“For women, we need a professional outlet to be able to connect, learn, and grow with like-minded women, not just in our community, but nationally from all walks of life, all backgrounds, and all industries,” she said.

This year, ABWA will celebrate 75 years of providing leadership, education, and networking opportunities for women all over the nation. The multigenerational organiza-

Member benefits include, but are not limited to, online access to ABWA’s Apex Campus, including Six Sigma Certification opportunities and other discounted courses. The organization also awards scholarships through the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund.

“Everybody is looking to enhance themselves personally and professionally. Someone may ask, ‘How can I do that in a safe place that’s going to give me an excellent opportunity to sharpen those skills with a diverse community?’ We offer that,” said Rachelle.
