Brandon Littlejohn, a 12-year-old seventh-grade student at The Bedford School in Fairburn, has been named one of the ten national winners of OneUnited Bank’s 15th Annual “I Got Bank” Youth Financial Literacy Essay and Art Contest.

Brandon, the son of Shujuan and Tracy Littlejohn of Newnan, Georgia, and grandson of Deacon Samuel and Mrs. Mary Littlejohn of Columbia, South Carolina, was recognized for his creative comic strip presentation highlighting the importance of financial literacy.

As one of the national winners, Brandon received a $1,000 savings account from OneUnited Bank to help support his educational goals following high school graduation.

The “I Got Bank” contest, launched by OneUnited Bank—the nation’s largest Black-owned bank—encourages children across the country to explore money management, saving, and investing through art and essay submissions. Each year, thousands of students participate, sharing their perspectives on how financial literacy can shape their futures.
