Booker T. Washington Alumni to host annual Homecoming Weekend

Established in 1916, Booker T. Washington High School was the largest African American School in the State of South Carolina. Even though the school closed in 1974, the Alumni Association continues to celebrate and host events to continue its rich legacy.

The Booker T. Washington Alumni Association will host its Annual Homecoming Celebration on June 29,

2024 from 2 pm – 6 pm at Tony Thomas Family Karate School, located at 130 Fontaine Center Drive. The Alumni Association is asking all Washingtonians, their family and friends to come and celebrate the homecoming festivities. Washingtonians, please remember to wear your Booker Washington paraphernalia or school colors (Black and Gold).
