Blythewood High School is proud to announce that Mrs. Meredith Blocker is the 2025- 26 Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Blocker is a veteran teacher who is National Board Certified. She is currently the World Language Department Chair as well as the Spanish II-AP Spanish teacher at Blythewood High School.
Mrs. Blocker states, “My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has the potential to succeed when given appropriate support, encouragement, and learning opportunities. Students thrive when they feel valued, respected, and supported while also being challenged to meet high expectations with accountability.”
