BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Announces 2026 Small Business Champions

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and the Columbia Chamber are pleased to announce five businesses that have been selected to take part in the 2026 class of the BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Small Business Champion Program.

“The Columbia Chamber is proud to partner with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina for the fourth year of the Small Business Champion Program. This initiative provides participants full access to Chamber programs, events, and valuable resources while creating opportunities to help their businesses grow and thrive,” said Carl Blackstone, President & CEO, Columbia Chamber.

The BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Small Business Champion Program covers a full year of Partnership fees with the Chamber and assigns a Chamber Diplomat to help each small business navigate all of the opportunities available to them through their membership.

They create jobs, strengthen communities and expand opportunity across South Carolina,” said Stephanie DeFressee, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. “At BlueCross, we know that access to affordable, flexible health coverage is critical to helping small businesses attract and retain a strong workforce. We are proud to partner with the Columbia Chamber of Commerce to help small businesses thrive and succeed.”

To qualify for the program, businesses must be based in the Midlands, open for two or more years and are not current Chamber Partners.
