The Black Men of South Carolina will hold a rally at 5228 Farrow Road in Columbia at 3 p.m.  The event will feature powerful speakers, prayer, mentorship commitments, community resources, Black-owned vendors, free haircut opportunities, entertainment, membership registration, volunteer opportunities, and a unified call to action.

Purpose of the Black Men of South Carolina Community Rally

The Black Men of South Carolina Community Rally exists to unite Black men from every county, city, town, neighborhood, profession, church, and generation around a shared commitment to strengthen our families, mentor our youth, serve our communities, promote economic opportunity, and build a safer and more prosperous South Carolina.

This rally is a call to action—not merely a gathering. It is an opportunity for Black men to stand together, renew our commitment to leadership and service, and demonstrate that positive, community-focused leadership can help address challenges affecting our neighborhoods.

Through unity, mentorship, volunteerism, civic engagement, faith, and economic empowerment, we seek to inspire men to become active participants in creating stronger families, safer neighborhoods, and brighter futures for generations to come.

Together, we affirm that lasting change begins with individual responsibility, collective action, and a commitment to serving others.

At this rally we will:

• Unite Black men from across South Carolina around a shared vision of service and leadership.

• Inspire men to mentor young people and invest in the next generation.

• Encourage stronger family involvement and responsible fatherhood.

• Promote volunteerism and community service throughout the state.

• Support Black-owned businesses and economic opportunity.

• Encourage civic participation and informed community engagement.

• Build partnerships with churches, schools, nonprofits, businesses, and public agencies.

• Recruit members and volunteers committed to serving their communities year-round.

• Launch statewide initiatives that continue long after the rally ends.

Our Commitment

We believe that meaningful change comes from consistent action. Every participant is encouraged to leave the rally with a personal commitment to dedicate time, talent, or resources toward improving the lives of others in their community.

A Call to Action

When this rally concludes, our work is just beginning. We leave not simply inspired, but committed. Committed to mentoring one child, helping one family, supporting one business, volunteering in one neighborhood, strengthening one church, and improving one community at a time.

The Black Men of South Carolina Community Rally is not about one afternoon. It is about building a legacy of leadership, service, unity, and hope that will benefit South Carolina for generations to come.
