ness and Entrepreneurship, serves as the faculty athletics representative for Benedict College. The faculty athletics representative is a liaison to communicate the benefits of intercollegiate athletics to faculty, the media, and external stakeholders, who are accustomed to hearing from athletic administrators and coaches.
Miller says, “This is an opportunity to further enhance the FAR position at our college and learn from
other FAR representatives throughout the nation. Even though I was selected as a representative for the SIAC conference, I will be meeting with Division II FARs from across the country. This gives me an opportunity to learn from them and bring back information that will be beneficial both to our students as well as faculty. It also gives me the ability to advocate for our student-athletes’ success academically and athletically.”
