Benedict College middle blocker Desire’ Young was named to the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-SIAC team.
Young also received the SIAC Elite 14 Award, presented to the student-athlete with the highest GPA.
On the court, Young led the SIAC in hitting percentage, hitting .350. She also ranked 10th in the league in kills per set (2.61), while also averaging 0.57 blocks per set.
In the classroom, she is a sophomore cybersecurity major with a 3.87 GPA. The
