Art, history, and culture have made a powerful stop in Columbia as Stormwater Studios hosts “Vision: The Journey Never Ends,” an exhibition celebrating generations of artistic brilliance and creative legacy.
At the heart of the show is Jessie Guinyard, a legendary visual artist and 50-year veteran in the arts, whose body of work has inspired countless artists across the region. Guinyard’s creative influence shines brightly as he symbolically passes the artistic mantle to the next generation — including Fred Townsend, a multi-talented emerging artist making waves in Columbia’s vibrant art scene.
Adding to the exhibition’s depth and diversity are pieces by Baba Seitu Amenwasu, a respected cultural leader and creative force in the Midlands, and the captivating works of Keith Tolen, who brings his “One Million Dots” project — a visual meditation on connection, time, and expression.
