Antjuan Seawright will be the keynote speaker at the Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church Black History Month Celebration.

Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church, located in Columbia’s Arthurtown community, will hold its annual Black History Month Celebration on Sunday, February 16 at 10 a.m. during its worship service. Fitting for the current times, this year’s theme is “Hope in a Sea of Change.”

The featured speaker will be Antjuan Seawright, founder and CEO of Blueprint Strategy LLC. a public relations, advertising, and political consulting firm based in Columbia. Highly visible on the political scene, Mr. Seawright has led many extensive grassroots and strategic efforts for political clients at the national, state,

and local level. As a political contributor, he has appeared on various media platforms across our country to discuss important current issues, including locally on WLTX TV 19.

The church’s Black History Month celebration will also feature historic profiles of important people in history, and performances from its choirs. Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church was founded in 1868 and is a pillar of the Arthurtown community. It is led by Senior Pastor Willie J. Davis, Jr. and located at 1609 Zion Avenue, off Bluff Road, between Williams-Brice Stadium and I-77.
