Allen University is pleased to announce the restoration of Coppin Hall, a landmark building located at 1530 Harden Street, Columbia, SC 29204. Completed in 1907, Coppin Hall is a significant historic structure within the Allen University Historic District, reflecting the institution’s enduring commitment to African American education and architectural heritage.
This restoration project is being supported in part by a Historically Black Colleges & University (HBCU) grant from the Historic Preservation Fund administered by the National Park Service, Department of the Interior.
Allen University is seeking public views and comments regarding this project.
