Allen University receives  $ 1 million gift from the Seventh Episcopal District of the AME Church

Allen University received a one-million-dollar gift from the Seventh Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The presentation took place on Saturday, November 22 during the District’s Planning Meeting at The Vision Center, located at 633 Mobley Highway in Winnsboro, South

Carolina.

This contribution reflects the longstanding relationship between Allen University and the AME Church, which founded the institution in 1870. The gift will support key university priorities that strengthen academic programs, student services, and ongoing institutional development.
