Richland Library is proud to introduce Allen Brown as the Fall 2025 Entrepreneurin-Residence (EiR), a role that blends expertise, innovation, and mentorship for the next generation of business leaders.

With 20 years of experience guiding entrepreneurs, Brown is known for pairing strategic acumen with unconventional thinking to help founders navigate the highs, lows, and leaps of building a business. His direct, thought-provoking style challenges norms, sparks creativity, and leads to practical, real-world solutions.

Brown’s work extends far beyond the brainstorming phase. As a coach and financial expert with the Midlands Minority Business Accelerator, he equips both emerging and established entrepreneurs with the tools to secure capital, strengthen business foundations, and convert professional success into personal financial wealth. His philosophy is rooted in the belief that building a business is about more than profit—it’s about creating lasting impact and generational opportunity.

The Entrepreneur-in-Residence program, made possible by generous funding from the Wells Fargo Foundation, connects the community with experienced business leaders like Brown for one-on-one guidance, resource sharing, and skill-building that transforms ideas into action.

During his residency which runs through December 2025, Brown will lead a series of insightful workshops tailored to small business owners and entrepreneurs:
