A.C. Flora High School senior Trey Jackson is the first Richland One student to earn a scholarship to play esports in college.
Trey received a scholarship to play Rocket League at Lander University. He is a member of A.C. Flora’s esports team, which has won three Rocket League championships since Richland One’s competitive esports program launched in February 2025.
“I’m really glad that something that I’ve put a lot of time into is paying off. I can see myself doing more things in the future because of the esports program,” Trey said.
