ABC Quality is partnering with the University of South Carolina (USC) Gamecocks to honor child care providers as Child Care Heroes at USC.
On January 6, Yvonne Boozer was recognized as the “Child Care Hero of the Game” at the Gamecocks men’s basketball game. Yvonne is the director of GLEAMNS Lexington Head Start Center in Lexington, which is an A+ rated ABC Quality program.
Ashley Scott, director of Kids’ Stuff Learning Center in West Columbia, was recognized at the Gamecocks women’s basketball game on January 7. Kids’ Stuff Learning Center is an A-rated ABC Quality program.
Orangeburg County School District to host career fair
Orangeburg County School District is excited to announce its upcoming Career Fair, a significant event aimed at bolstering the educational workforce and enriching our schools with talented professionals. Scheduled for February 10, 2024, from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, this fair will be held at the Orangeburg County Conference Center, located at 1643 Russell St, Orangeburg, SC 29115.
This event opens an array of opportunities for those passionate about making a difference in education. We are actively seeking qualified individuals for a variety of positions, including teachers, teacher assistants, special education professionals, teacher assistant shadows, psychologists, media specialists, secretaries, math & reading interventionists, behavior interventionists, occupational therapists, counselors, nurses, bus drivers, maintenance staff, HVAC technicians, executive assistants, and many more.
