The Columbia Gem and Mineral Society will hold its 58th Annual Gem, Mineral, and Jewelry Show
Gemstones, jewelry, mineral specimens, fossils and beads are sold Also featuring geode cutting, a salted mine for children, a raffle for large mineral specimens (Fluorite and barite in matrix, emerald in matrix), demonstrations of lapidary arts such as precious mineral faceting and jewelry making, showcases displaying members’ collections of minerals and fossils, the South Carolina State Stone (blue granite) and State Mineral (amethyst).
