3rd Annual initiative creates awareness about feminine healthcare in the Midlands

Now in its third year, the Cola Rosé Shower celebrates women by promoting awareness about feminine care issues and period poverty in the Greater Columbia community. Held at Williams-Brice Stadium’s Traditions Club (1125 George Rogers Blvd) on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 3:00 PM, the event transforms Columbia’s most masculine symbol pink for a day to promote unity around the cause of feminine care.

In 2022, approximately 41 % of women in the United States ages 18-64 reported having an ongoing medical condition that required monitoring, care, or medication. According to the latest Period. org research, one in three ( 3 7 % ) women in the United States have experienced period poverty in their lifetime.
