36th Annual Rudolph Canzater Memorial Classic continues its legacy of scholarships, philanthropy, and access to healthcare

The 36th Annual Rudolph Canzater Memorial Classic will be held July 30 – August 2 in Santee, South Carolina. The annual event brings together business leaders, community advocates, and golf enthusiasts from across the country for one of South Carolina’s most impactful and anticipated traditions.

Held along the scenic 110,000-acre Lake Marion, the Classic continues its decades-long mission of supporting educational pursuits and healthcare awareness along South Carolina’s I-95 Corridor. Proceeds from the event fund need-based scholarships for high school graduates and college students who live or attend school in South Carolina’s 6th Congressional district. To date, the tournament has funded more than 1,850 college scholarships totaling over $5.7 million and has contributed more than $4.2 million in endowments at South Carolina colleges and universities.

“Each year the Rudolph Canzater Memorial Classic reminds us of the power of community and what we can accomplish when we come together with a shared purpose,” said event director Angela Clyburn. “From expanding access to education to addressing critical health disparities along the I-95 corridor, this effort reflects our unwavering commitment to uplifting the next generation and strengthening communities across South Carolina.”

Itinerary of Events

Kicking off the weekend, the Back to School Bash provides free book bags, school supplies, and haircuts for youth of all ages. Since 2014, the initiative has distributed over 6,000 book bags and provided more than 500 haircuts, alongside food, games, and family-friendly activities.
