2026 Health Initiatives for Men

The 2026 Health Initiatives for Men, H.I.M. Conference will be held June 5-7 in Columbia.

The Wiley Kennedy Foundation (WKF) and Bible Way Church of Atlas Road’s Men’s Ministry is hosting H.I.M. (Health Initiative for Men) 2026…a men’s health conference.  H.I.M. focuses on practical solutions to real health challenges facing all men. This conference is for men of all ages and is only $40. This price includes meals and supplies.

On Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6, events will be held on the campus of Columbia College, 1301 Columbia College Drive. Highlights include a panel discussion on mental health, a conversation with former NBA star Chris Webber, food, and more.

On Friday, June 5, there will be a reception, a panel discussion on mental health featuring Bishop Eric Freeman, and a keynote by former NBA Player and Analyst Chris Webber from 6:00-9:00 pm. 

On Saturday, June 6, from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, there will be informational sessions and various health checks. Topics include “What’s Under Your Hood” and “Work Life Balance”. There will be lots of food, free swag, and plenty of “REAL TALK”!

On Sunday, June 7, the conference concludes at Bible Way Church of Atlas Road with a special message from Pastor Darrell Jackson during the 8:00 am worship service, followed by breakfast from 9:30-10:45 am. During breakfast, Dr. Cedrek McFadden will be the guest speaker.

This conference is designed to address health disparities by connecting men and young males with trusted healthcare professionals, vital resources, and preventive education.
