“Ten Year Milestone of Advocacy and Empowerment for Women and Girls”
The Columbia (SC) Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., celebrated its ten-year chapter anniversary and milestone of advocacy and empowerment for women and girls of African American descent during its “2024 Heroes Scholarships and Awards Luncheon” on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Brookland Banquet and Conference Center. During this ceremony, five outstanding community leaders were honored, and six outstanding high school seniors were awarded $1,000 scholarships. A special tribute was presented to the chapter charter members and its community partner W.A. Perry Middle School’s Girls Educated Motivated to Succeed (G.E.M.S.) youth mentorship program.

The Palmetto Medical, Dental, And Pharmaceutical Association (PMDPA) will be hosting their annual state meeting at the Brookland Baptist Church Banquet and Conference Center on April 19-21, 2024.

can physicians, dentists, and pharmacists founded in 1896. Theme for this Meeting is: “The Why: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)”
We encourage physicians, dentists, pharmacists, podiatrists, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other health professionals to register for this important conference which will include
lectures on important medical, dental, and pharmaceutical topics including minority healthcare disparities and DEI.
